Palma de Mallorca – A small preliminary decision in the title race may have been made in the Spanish football league on Saturday. While Real Madrid surprisingly lost 2-1 at Real Mallorca without David Alaba, FC Barcelona celebrated a 2-1 win in the difficult away match against Atletico Madrid and thus extended their lead over their arch-rivals to seven points in the table. Barca and Atletico will also meet twice in the Champions League quarter-finals in just a few days.
