Nobre workers are on yet another strike this Monday. They demand a salary increase of 50 euros, the enhancement of meal allowances and night work, the implementation of seniority benefits, 25 days of vacation and an end to the use of precarious hiring.
In protest in front of the company’s facilities in Rio Maior, Nobre workers gradually came together to carry out what is the 28th strike in the last three years.
The employees accuse the company of refusing to negotiate the demands list and demand a salary increase of 50 euros, appreciation of meal vouchers, from night work and 25 days of vacation.
Given the lack of responses, promise to continue fighting. The next strike is scheduled for May.
SIC tried to contact Nobre, but got no response until the end of this report.
