The parliamentarian, former mayor of Itapetininga, began to be considered by the PP as a possible name for the senator’s deputy position, in the event of a coalition. This would also depend on the approval of the federation that the party forms with União Brasil
The meeting was organized by the president of the PP in the state of São Paulo, deputy Maurício Neves, with the consent of the national president, senator Ciro Nogueira (PI).
“Congresswoman Simone brings together several qualities to make up the ticket as vice-president. In addition to being a woman, she is an important leader among Catholics. Furthermore, she is from São Paulo, which will be a fundamental state in the election”, says Neves.
