The President of the United States, Donald Trump, spoke on Monday night, 6th, with the astronauts of the Artemis 2 mission, hours after the group reached the greatest distance from Earth ever reached by humanity and made a flyby of the Moon.
“Humans have really never seen anything like what you’re doing. It’s really special,” Trump told the four astronauts, who are on their way back to Earth. The president stated that NASA will soon take a big trip to Mars, which “will be very exciting”.
Trump also said the United States will not be surpassed in space and in everything else it does. “America is finally back and, in many ways, stronger than ever,” he concluded.
