Road I/68 between Stara Ľubovňa and Plavnica is closed due to the accident. The Regional Directorate of the Police Force (PZ) in Prešov reported on the social network that two cars collided at the scene. The operations officer of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service in Prešov confirmed for TASR that four people were injured in the accident.

“All emergency services are on the scene. The police are documenting the accident. The said section of the road is currently impassable in both directions. We will inform you in time about the passability. We will provide more detailed information as soon as the situation allows.” said the police and appeals to drivers to respect the instructions of the PZ officers and, if possible, to avoid the mentioned section.
