At the end of 2024, everyone was surprised by the news that Adela Vincze ends up in the dance show Let’s Dance. The crucial decision came after the television management gave Markíza a choice for her husband. Viktor Vincze had to decide whether he would host a popular project or Televízne noviny. With the passage of time, the former marquis admitted that he doesn’t miss cameras or fame, rather he regrets lost friendships and relationships.
In 2024, Vincze flatly refused to participate in the jubilee 10th series of the successful project. “I’m not going into the next series, as Viktor was removed from the TV version as well as from the tour in response to his news activities in the past months. I wouldn’t feel comfortable in such a setting.” stated in the opinion for .
„Viktor stood up for the right thing, devoted a lot of energy to it, sacrificed a lot of personal well-being, as well as our common well-being, this is the least I can do in this matter.” added Adela, saying that it was a matter of principle for her. “I see Markíza and Let’s Dance as brands that mean a lot to me in life, but we are currently parting ways with Markíza’s management regarding the actions towards Viktor and the topic we represent,” concluded Vinczeová.
Despite the turbulent ending, they did not resent Let’s Dance. In a new interview, the Vinczes openly talked about the fact that they watch the glossy show every Sunday. “Adelka can’t watch it to the end because she’s tired, and then I’ll tell her what happened. Let’s Dance is a show with heart and we have memories of it. Both for those people and for the whole process. Adelka has been doing it for years, I think three years. It’s not all of a sudden like, ugh, I never want to see you again.” told Topká Vincze.
“Obviously, there are some memories that we wouldn’t call entirely positive, especially in the context of how certain things happened or didn’t happen. That doesn’t stop us from not being able to watch the show normally. We can watch it perfectly well,” the former face of blue-yellow television does not hide.
It is clear to Vincze that some viewers will honestly or out of politeness say that they miss her and her husband in Let’s Dance, but she sees it clearly. “People are basically always excited about anything that’s suddenly there and they forget very quickly. Everyone is replaceable.” she noted.
“On the other hand, we could sit there, but they didn’t want to. I can’t imagine that I would sit there under any circumstances. The reasons are not directly related to that show, they relate to other structural settings of television. That’s why we can watch it, because it’s a nice show and everyone who is there belongs there to some extent,” added Adela Vinczeová in conclusion for the Slovak website.
