Governor was in 2025 with Rodrigo Oliveira, investigated on suspicion of money laundering linked to the PCC
The governor of São Paulo, (Republicans), participated in a dinner with funk businessman Rodrigo Inácio de Lima Oliveira, arrested on Tuesday (April 15, 2026) at the Federal Police. The investigation investigates an alleged money laundering scheme linked to the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital).
The meeting took place on August 12, 2025, at the Latino singer’s home, with the presence of businesspeople from the entertainment sector. On the occasion, Oliveira published photos with the governor on social media.
According to the Federal Police, the operation seeks to dismantle a criminal organization suspected of moving illicit resources through cryptoactives, in Brazil and abroad. Oliveira is being investigated for allegedly acting as an intermediary for artists who would hide trafficking values.
The main targets of the action were musicians MC Ryan and MC Poze do Rodo, who deny the accusations. According to the PF, the group would have generated more than R$1.6 billion.
More than 200 federal police officers carried out 45 search and seizure warrants and 39 temporary arrest warrants, issued by the Federal Court in Santos. The businessman’s arrest was confirmed by his defense.
PRISONS
Ryan Santana dos Santos, 25 years old, was arrested on the Riviera de São Lourenço, in Bertioga, on the coast of São Paulo. Marlon Brandon Coelho Couto Silva (MC Poze do Rodo), 27 years old, was arrested at home, in Recreio dos Bandeirantes, in Rio. The information comes from journalists Bruno Tavares and Isabela Leite, from TV Globo.
Poze do Rodo’s defense told TV Globo that “they are unaware of the records or the content of the arrest warrant”. He said that “he will speak up in court to restore his freedom and provide the necessary clarifications to the Judiciary” when he has access.
During the operation, Raphael Sousa Oliveira, creator of the Choquei profile, was also arrested in Goiânia. According to investigations, he is suspected of being part of the scheme for moving and hiding illicit resources.
