Vienna/Innsbruck – Under the direction and coordination of the Directorate of State Security and Intelligence (DSN), an Austria-wide operation against illegal weapons smuggling took place last Wednesday, the Interior Ministry announced on Saturday. The numerous checks took place along the smuggling routes. 40 people and their luggage were checked and 67 vehicles were searched. One person was arrested in Tyrol.
