If you suspect that yours is attacked by grubs, act immediately before the pests cause more damage. One of the most effective methods for combating grubs is natural tansy manure. It is a wild plant that grows most often in meadows or along roads. It has strong beetle repellent properties. Prepare about 1 kilogram of fresh tansy leaves or about 200 grams of dried tansy. Pour 10 liters of rainwater over everything and set aside for 2 weeks. Mix the solution every day and let it ferment. After about 14 days, the mixture is ready for use. Dilute it with water in a ratio of 1:20 and water the lawn. The treatment should be applied to a damp surface and repeated once every two weeks. Tansy slurry has a repellent effect and causes the larvae to come to the surface where they can be collected and disposed of or they will be eaten by birds. It is also worth remembering that consuming tansy may be toxic to humans and animals, so you should avoid spraying it on flowers and fruit bushes.
