The head of state received the approval of the majority of respondents at the start of his term, in comparison with Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
In a new survey, for Correio da Manhã and , the majority of respondents (55.1%) said they trust that António José Seguro will be a better President than Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
On the contrary, 23.4% believe that the new head of state will perform worse than his predecessor.
57.1% also consider that Insurance performance is already being better than they imagined. Only 18.6% are disappointed with the performance of the new head of state.
Another survey, also released by , showed that André Ventura is seen as the true leader of the opposition in Portugal.
54.6% of those interviewed think that Chega’s leader occupies the aforementioned role and only 25.5% think that José Luís Carneiro does it.
It is curious to compare the result of this barometer with that of another recent one from the same company that said that, currently, the PS leads voting intentions and André Ventura has fallen in popularity.
