Entire folders full of photos lie on the table and a slide show is playing on a screen. You can see pictures with very similar content: T-shirts, camisoles, jackets or trousers that have been torn out of used clothing containers and are scattered on the ground around the collection point. In addition, you can often see carelessly thrown away rubbish. “1257 such conditions” were documented around these containers throughout Vienna in March alone, says Josef Thon, head of MA 48 (waste management).
