There is a thick air in the hearing room 201 of the Graz Regional Criminal Court this Thursday morning. Literally as well as figuratively. Only a few chairs in the approximately 50 square meter room are empty, the three windows have to remain closed due to the noise from the street – otherwise the judge would not be able to hear the meek confessions of the six defendants: the carefully dressed, slim girls who testify in front of her and the jury appear dejected.
