Singer Shakira arrived in Rio de Janeiro this Wednesday morning (29) for the show she will perform at Copacabana Beach, in Rio de Janeiro, next Saturday (2).
The Colombian landed on Brazilian soil wearing a white tank top, gray pants styled with colored paint, white sneakers and sunglasses. Very smiling, the famous woman made hearts with her arms and waved to the professionals who were present at the airport.
In networks, she announced her arrival by showing her ‘tourist kit’with flip-flops, bikini, a fan and more pieces.
The show will be free and is part of the “Todo Mundo no Rio” project, which is in its third edition. The event is an initiative by Rio de Janeiro City Hall, produced by Bonus Track, which aims to transform Copacabana Beach into a fixed stage for free mega shows by international artists.

Shakira’s performance is scheduled to take place at 9:45 pm. The opening of the show will be led by two Brazilian DJs, Vintage Culture and Maz. The singer also promised attractions, but so far has not revealed any names.
It is estimated that around 2 million people go to Copacabana to watch the Colombian team. The stage must also be the biggest, surpassing those set up for Madonna and Lady Gafa’s performances. This Wednesday, the mayor of Rio de Janeiro stated that the municipality will invest R$20 million in the event, an additional R$5 million compared to the R$15 million initially planned. The state government will not support it.
To warm up her fans, Shakira recently released a special playlist with songs that should make up the show’s repertoire, bringing together her biggest hits and most recent tracks.
