The Upper Austrian remains on the ground after Crystal Palace’s 3-1 first leg win against Donetsk: “Nice half-time lead, nothing more, nothing less”
Oliver Glanser and the European Cup: That fits.
Krakow – Coach Oliver Glasner is two games away from winning his second European Cup title. With the 3-1 away win at Shakhtar Donetsk on Thursday in Krakow, Crystal Palace laid the foundation for a place in the Conference League final, which could give the Upper Austrian the perfect farewell to the Londoners. Glasner hit the brakes. “A nice half-time lead, nothing more, nothing less,” said the 51-year-old, who won the Europa League with Frankfurt in 2022.
