Former governor of Minas Gerais declared that families who have been in politics for decades only use the public sector to solve problems

But those who spend 10, 20, 30 years in the public sector, who come from a family, often come with a mental model that thinks the public sector is always part of the solution”he declared.

Zema said that the public sector is often Brazil’s problems. He stated that “gigantism” of the State makes the country inefficient.

“I want the entire institute and every municipality to improve its efficiency by 1% per year. […] Here in Brazil we see an increasingly fatter, more inefficient public sector, providing more positions”these Zema.

He stated that he is the only one with an economic plan that implements the . He stated that the fiscal package estimates savings of up to R$10 trillion over 20 years. According to him, no other candidate proposed similar measures.
