Prosecutor General Maroš Žilinka thanked the health workers, who were present during his hospitalization and surgery at the Cardiocenter in Bratislava. He stated this on the social network. “Thank you for the professional and humane approach of all the medical professionals during my hospitalization and procedure at the CINRE Cardio Center of the Bory Hospital in Bratislava,” said Žilinka.
On Sunday (May 3), the prosecutor’s office confirmed for TASR that the Prosecutor General of Žilina is hospitalized. According to Plus 7 days, the reason was a suspected heart attack. The hospital informed that Žilinka was fully stabilized after the treatment and without any difficulties. They had it on Monday (4/5). discharge to home treatment and follow-up care. Žilinka is 55 years old. He has been in the position of Prosecutor General of the Slovak Republic since December 10, 2020.
