A Lungau pastor resisting the Nazi regime

If you follow the data from the Archdiocese of Salzburg, about half of all priests in the diocese were banned from preaching at least in the first year after Nazi Germany invaded Austria. Regional historian Rudolf Leo assumes that of the 476 secular priests who were subordinate to the archdiocese at the time, 85 clergy had to serve prison sentences. 14 priests were deported to a concentration camp.
