Pre-candidate for Planalto, the senator (PL) seemed uncomfortable with questions from the press this Friday (8) about the involvement of the senator (PP-PI) in the Master case and tried to remove the ally from the October elections. He has a pre-campaign agenda in (SC).
When asked if he was still considering inviting Ciro to be vice-president on his ticket, Flávio stated that “I never said that” and that he only considered him “a good profile” for the position.
“Look, you want to link me with Ciro Nogueira, but Banco Master belongs to Lula”, he told journalists, at the exit of the documentary “A Colisão dos Destinos”, about his father and former president.

On Thursday (7), the Federal Police completed a new phase of the Compliance Zero operation, which investigates suspicions related to Banco Master.
Among the PF’s main suspicions are that the senator, who was minister of the Civil House during the Bolsonaro administration, received amounts transferred by Felipe Vorcaro, cousin of Daniel Vorcaro, owner of the bank. Furthermore, according to the investigations, there would be payment for other personal expenses of the parliamentarian, such as jet travel.
This Friday, in a , Ciro stated that the operation against him was an attempt to tarnish his personal honor. “Every political year is the same thing. They try to stop in every way those who are leading the voter intention polls,” he wrote.
Ciro is the national president of the PP, one of the main parties in the center and which today forms a federation with União Brasil. Since joining Planalto, Flávio has been trying to garner the group’s public support to face President Lula’s re-election attempt.

This Friday, in Florianópolis, Flávio spoke to the press after leaving the screening of the documentary about his father. The film “The Collision of Destinies” is 70 minutes long and was directed by Doriel Francisco. The exhibition was reserved for invited guests. The documentary was produced by allies of the former president, who is under house arrest, convicted of an attempted state coup.
Previews have already been held in other capitals, and the director says that the national launch will take place on May 14th.
The senator also had a dinner with businesspeople on his agenda after the documentary. On Friday afternoon, Flávio met with the governor of Santa Catarina Jorginho Mello (PL), a pre-candidate for re-election. The two visited the São Pedro de Alcântara Penitentiary Complex and posed for photos with armed police officers.
This Saturday (9) afternoon, there will be the PL state meeting open to the public. The group’s idea is to create, in addition to Flávio and Jorginho, former Rio de Janeiro councilor Carlos Bolsonaro and federal deputy Carol De Toni, both pre-candidates for the Senate for Santa Catarina.
