Vienna – Labor and Social Affairs Minister Korinna Schumann (SPÖ) advocates the introduction of a legally anchored right to an increase in hours for part-time workers. Her department said she wanted to “further advance” this issue and actively bring it into the federal government and the current budget negotiations. A relevant prerequisite is the expansion of child care.
