The districts of Bragança and Guarda are under yellow warning due to the forecast of showers, sometimes heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms, the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) announced this Tuesday.
According to a statement from IPMA, the two districts will be under yellow warning at least until 6:00 am this Tuesday.
The yellow warning, the least serious on a scale of three, is issued whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities depending on the weather situation.
The IPMA predicts periods of very cloudy skies and showers on the continent for this Tuesday, more likely in the North and Center, decreasing in intensity and frequency from the afternoon onwards.
The forecast also points to weak to moderate winds from the south/southwest, up to 30 kilometers per hour.
Minimum temperatures will range between 6 degrees Celsius (in Guarda) and 13 (in Lisbon) and maximum temperatures between 13 (in Guarda) and 22 (in Santarém).
