Lustenau/St. Pölten – Austria Lustenau secured the championship title in the 2nd football league in the last round and is promoted to the Bundesliga. The Vorarlbergers beat Amstetten 2-1 on Thursday in the Sun Minimeal Arena and secured their return to the upper house, in which they will contest their sixth season in 2026/27. A 1-0 win against Wels did not help pursuers St. Pölten, the SKN remained one point behind Lustenau. Admira came third thanks to a 1-0 win against FAC.
