Linz – Blau-Weiß Linz has to make the bitter journey back to the second league after three years. The Linzers had to admit defeat to GAK at home with 0:3 (0:1) in the decider to stay in the Bundesliga on Saturday. As in the previous year, the Graz team secured their place in the league in the last round. The goals were scored by Christian Lichtenberger (6th), Alexander Hofleitner (52nd) and Daniel Maderner (91st). Blue and White would have needed a win to avoid relegation.
