The negative assessment of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s government fluctuated downwards, with 39% of those interviewed classifying the management as bad or terrible, according to , 16. In the previous survey, carried out in April, the percentage was at 40%, which indicates stability within the maximum margin of error, of two percentage points plus or minus.
The positive evaluation – that is, from people who consider the work of the Lula government to be good or excellent – went from 29% to 30%, while 29% evaluated the administration as regular in this new round of evaluation, the same number as in April.
According to the research, the government’s best moment was between September and December 2023, when the good or excellent evaluation reached 38%. In February 2025, amid the crisis caused by fake news that the government would tax Pix, disapproval reached 41%.
The survey was carried out on Tuesday (12) and Wednesday (13), with 2,004 people aged 16 or over across the country, in face-to-face interviews.
