Zurich/Fribourg – Defending champion USA suffered their second defeat in the third game at the Ice Hockey World Cup in Switzerland. Finland defeated the US team 6-2 in Zurich on Monday. Switzerland celebrated a 6-1 win over Germany and took the lead in Group A with Finland ahead of Austria. In Group B in Friborg, the Czech Republic beat Sweden 4-3. Gold favorite Canada defeated Denmark 5-1, superstar Sidney Crosby prepared four goals.
