The determination of the minister of the (Supreme Federal Court) to transfer the owner of the , , to a special room in the PF superintendence () worsened the body’s dissatisfaction with the rapporteur of the case in the court.
An hour later, the PF leadership had not even been notified of the rapporteur’s decision.
Vorcaro was serving his sentence after the corporation rejected the proposed plea agreement. The place is considered a “transit” where they are detained in the act for a maximum of two days.
Weeks ago, when the chances were growing that the PF would not close the deal with the banker, the corporation asked the STF minister that he be transferred to the 19th Military Police Battalion, within the Papuda Penitentiary Complex.
In recent days, the PF reinforced the request. Even so, they were not analyzed by the minister, who has now decided that the banker will remain in charge.
According to members of the corporation, Vorcaro does not comply with the standard rules of the place, such as having only two hours to talk to lawyers. The banker usually stays with the defenders from 9am to 6pm, according to reports.
The PF’s dissatisfaction with André Mendonça, however, is not new. Police officers complain that he makes “unreasonable” decisions, wants to take control and thinks he “owns the investigation”.
In February, it even prohibited delegates from sharing information and data with their hierarchical superiors, which angered the corporation’s top brass.
