Qualicorp () announced this Friday, the 22nd, the beginning of a structured succession process in its executive presidency. The current CEO, Maurício Lopes, will assume the presidency of the board of directors from August 31, 2026, while Eduardo Oliveira, current vice-president of the company, will be promoted to the position of CEO.
Until the transition is completed, Oliveira will act as executive vice-president, sharing the operational management of the company with Lopes in a process that the company classified as “organized, predictable and responsible”.
According to Qualicorp, the change aims to ensure continuity in the turnaround cycle carried out over the last three years. The company states that Maurício Lopes’ management was marked by advances in operational efficiency, reorganization of commercial fronts and expansion of the product portfolio, initiatives that supported the company’s operational recovery.

The company also highlighted that Eduardo Oliveira participated directly in the formulation and execution of the company’s recovery strategy in recent years. In the assessment of the board of directors, its experience and involvement with the main strategic fronts guarantee “strategic coherence and continuity of execution” for the next phase of Qualicorp.
With the reorganization, Murilo Ramos Neto, current chairman and one of the turnaround leaders on the board, will become vice-presidency of the board. After assuming the presidency of the board of directors, Maurício Lopes will continue to closely monitor strategic projects and the transition process of the new executive management.
