“A communist is a communist at home, at work, at school, in social relationships and when voting. Christianity is not a religion, people. Christianity is a lifestyle. […]Not the believer. They are believers in everything, but when it comes to voting, they vote for bums, thiefs, people who hate us, they vote for people who hate the Bible”, these.
Malafaia also stated that Christians vote for people who defend “who persecutes Christians in Iran, Cuba and Korea.”
During the event, Malafaia called the president of Alerj (Legislative Assembly of the State of Rio de Janeiro), Douglas Ruas (PL), to the stage. He said that the deputy represents “everything that is government, president of the Republic, governor, mayor, senator and deputy”.
The senator and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), was expected at the event, but canceled his participation. He remained in Brasília.
