On the 13th of June, Praia do Carvoeiro will host another edition of Arraial Popular, an initiative that promises to celebrate the Popular Saints with music, gastronomy and socializing by the sea.
The event takes place from 6pm at the location next to Poliesportivo, bringing together residents and visitors on one of the most traditional nights of the year.
According to the organizers, the festive atmosphere will feature grilled sardines, typical snacks and musical entertainment throughout the night.
The dance will be in charge of the artist Paulo Coelho, responsible for livening up the popular festival, which will have free entry.
Roasted sardines and music mark the night of Santos Populares
The initiative aims to promote coexistence between the local community and visitors, in a traditional environment associated with the popular June festivities.
The organization highlights the smell of “traditional roasted sardines” and the typical gastronomic offer as some of the main attractions of the night.
The invitation is addressed “to everyone who wants to celebrate popular saints in a convivial environment by the sea”.
