Harsh REALITY! Actor Marián Mitaš came out with the truth: I earn money to pay the mortgage…

Slovak actor Marián Mitaš cannot complain about the lack of work. In addition to Slovakia, he also shoots in the Czech Republic, where he currently has several projects underway. “At the moment, yes. At the beginning of the year, in January and February, we shot the film Panna Sofia under the direction of Václav Kadrnka, he stated in an interview for In the novel, he plays the main role.

He added that it is a thematic section from the life of Jan Amos Komenský just before his departure to Lešno after the battle on Biela hora. “We filmed Panna Sofia in Moravia and in Istanbul, it is a de facto Czech-Slovak-Turkish film, and at the same time I am currently working on my other activities. And in October, we’re starting to shoot another film in Prague,” Mitaš indicated that he doesn’t rely only on acting when it comes to earnings.

He didn’t want to share much about the details and was tight-lipped. “I’m earning to pay for the mortgage, somewhere else, and at the same time I’m developing my own projects,” the popular actor told the weekly.

“We manufacture and sell various components for windows. I help my father. At my age, a person already wants to do work that has some meaning. That’s why I still have my artistic projects ready, which I want to bring to life.” he added.

The business with windows is nowhere near profitable enough to cover the expenses for the aforementioned projects. “We’ll be happy if we get mortgages out of it (Laughs),” he said flatly. In one breath, he added that, in his opinion, nothing can be created in Slovakia without state funding and that funds for the support of art are extremely important.

“It is important that they go to culture and not, for example, to propaganda through various disinformation journals, as has now happened at the FPU; that they invent some column there, and yet it is just plain propaganda that is pushed on people through social networks. These are the images that politicians invent to help them stay in power longer, or to create some other conflicts. And we will give money for it that should go to culture, so that is absolutely shameful.” rages Mitaš.

Despite everything, the actor does not lose hope and hopes that the situation will somehow stabilize and be resolved. “Even the expert commissions have already understood that it can’t go on like this. So it’s probably all up to the FPU Council and probably to change the minister. Without that, it probably won’t work,” remarked the actor.
