US President Donald Trump reiterated that Iran will “never have” a nuclear weapon, when participating in a Memorial Day ceremony, this Monday, 25th. The comment comes amid expectations that Washington and Tehran will reach an understanding to end hostilities in the Middle East, with the Iranian nuclear program being one of the main impasses between the parties.
In addition to Operation Epic Fury, as the American action against Iran was named, Trump highlighted the operation in Venezuela at the beginning of the year. According to the American president, the US is currently working “very closely” with the interim government of Delcy Rodríguez, without providing any details.
