Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, stated that the US should no longer have “a safe haven for its antics and the establishment of military bases” in the Middle East, in a speech published this Tuesday, 26.
The Americans have dozens of bases or installations with an American presence in the Middle East, some of which were attacked during the war with Iran.
“Time will not turn back, and the nations and lands of the region will no longer serve as a shield for American bases. Not only will the USA no longer have a safe haven for its antics and the establishment of military bases in the region, but, day by day, it is moving further and further away from its former status,” he wrote.
Khamenei also called on Muslim countries to shape a new world order based on their “shared capabilities and common interests” and suggested that Israel is “approaching the final stages of its existence.”
“The shattered Zionist regime and the cancerous tumor of Israel are equally approaching the final stages of their miserable existence and, by the grace of God, will not live to see twenty-five years beyond that date, God willing,” he threatened.
