Images were released of Britney Spears’ arrest, which took place in March, following alleged driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
The recordings, made public by the North American broadcaster CBS, show the 44-year-old “Toxic” singer being approached by authorities, getting out of the vehicle and carrying out a field sobriety test at the scene.
In the images it is possible to see the moment in which the artist is subjected to police procedures and, later, placed inside a vehicle. He then goes to a hospital, where additional tests were carried out.
A month after her arrest, Britney Spears voluntarily entered a rehabilitation clinic. At the beginning of May, she pleaded guilty to reckless driving, in a decision that avoided a possible prison sentence. She was, however, subject to 12 months probation.
