The appearances of two charlatans in Vienna have caused astonishment these days. At the opening of the Wiener Festwochen, the Croatian esoteric Braco was given a stage to present his “giving view”. To the sounds of a New Age buzz reminiscent of the constant sound system in the spa area of a Burgenland thermal hotel from the 1990s, the audience at Heldenplatz and that of the ORF broadcast enjoyed a performance for which you would otherwise have to pay an entrance fee.
