The still energetic singer Eva Máziková has been living in Germany for decades, where love led her. She and her husband Peter said yes in 1976, and it’s still going great for them today. Everyone knows that love also goes through the stomach, and the diva is also a smart housewife. The favorite fruit is currently in season, so she swapped the microphone for a cooker and set about making jam with great enthusiasm.
The singer goes with the times, so like a true influencer, she shared pictures from her kitchen with her fans. The strawberries she used to cook the traditional delicacy did not come from her garden, but she had to buy them. She brought home two kilos and revealed to followers why she went to the store for them on Saturday.
“I’ll tell you a trick. Everything is cheaper before holidays or when it’s Saturday night. Imagine that a kilo cost only 4 euros. That’s very little.” commented Máziková, who had just gone to put some small fruit in the pot. However, she was faced with a task that will test the patience of every housewife – long cooking until the strawberries become jam. Everything turned out as expected and after a few hours she posted photos of the finished cups on Instagram.
The strawberry season is also underway in Slovakia. Fruit growers opened their doors and people immediately took advantage of the opportunity to go self-picking. In this case, reasonable prices range from €3 to €4. However, those who do not want to kneel in the field and prefer to reach for ready-made packaging directly from growers in stands or markets will pay extra. The average price for already picked Slovak strawberries ranges from €7.00 to €10.00 per kilogram.
