The senator () met this Tuesday (26) with the president of the USA, at the White House.
Images of them were released by allies of the pre-candidate for the PL Presidency. In one of them, Trump appears sitting next to Flávio. In another, Bolsonaro businessman Paulo Figueiredo and former federal deputy pose together.
There was officially no meeting between Trump and Flávio.
Earlier, Flávio had announced that he was on his way to the White House, the US president’s workplace, and then published a video on social media saying that he was going in to have a “very nice conversation”, but without revealing with whom (“you’ll know in a little while”, he said).
The PL pre-candidate for President arrived in Washington on Monday (25) and is staying at the hotel whose daily rate starts at US$500 (around R$2,500).
Figueiredo stated that Flávio was in the city for a series of meetings and that one of the main topics presented was the request for the CV (Comando Vermelho) and the PCC (Primeiro Comando da Capital) to be classified by the US as “foreign terrorist organizations”.
He said that there is already documentation delivered to the American authorities and stated that the group of politicians, which includes Eduardo Bolsonaro, is trying to “reverse” an alleged action by the (PT) on the issue.

The meeting held this month between Trump and Lula at the White House lasted three hours and, according to reports from both governments, had a positive outcome. Commercial tariffs were discussed, a bilateral working table was created and Brazil presented a proposal for cooperation in the area of public security.
After the visit, Lula stated that he did not believe in Trump’s interference in the Brazilian electoral process and trusted in the mutual respect between the two countries on this issue.

The meeting between Flávio and Trump was fueled by Flávio’s allies in the midst of a delicate moment in the PL pre-campaign.
