FPE wants to raise the ceiling of Simples Nacional in the PEC of 6×1 – 05/27/2026 – Panel

The Parliamentary Entrepreneurship Front wants to include the raising of the Simples Nacional ceiling in the text of the PEC that ends the . As the project is already closed in the Chamber, coordination has already begun with senators.

FPE defends the measure as compensation for micro and small entrepreneurs after the reduction in working hours.

The idea is to take advantage of the content of a project that is already being processed in . It raises the ceiling for Individual Microentrepreneurs from the current R$81 thousand to R$144 thousand. The ceiling for micro-enterprises would reach R$869 thousand and that for small companies would reach R$8.6 million.

The proposal is not well regarded by the government’s economic team, but the president (PT) agreed with small companies to end the 6×1 scale.

The government, however, wants the compensation to be defined by bill — this is what was agreed with the president of the Chamber, (-PB).

Even so, the FPE will insist and try to include the measure in the PEC, which would guarantee the raising of the ceiling directly at the Federal level. The matter was discussed during lunch this Wednesday (27) with the Parliamentary Front in Defense of Commerce and Services.
