During the official trip, the two “will analyze and exchange views on regional and global developments of mutual interest”, the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday (28).
The minister will leave for Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, on Friday (29).
“Discussions will also focus on strengthening cooperation in priority sectors as well as Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy,” the ministry said in a statement.
Pakistan has emerged as a key mediator between the United States and Iran in recent months during the Middle East war, playing a leading role in a temporary ceasefire in April.
