Comedian and influencer František Košarišťan, known under the pseudonym Fero Jokeis once again in the center of unpleasant attention. After is facing a case of sexual harassment after a new criminal complaint. A decisive step was taken by the political party Right to the Truth, headed by a well-known businessman Zoroslav Kollar.
„We are filing a criminal complaint against František Košarišťana (Fero Joke) for publicly defaming senior citizens. In his videos, he portrays older people as backward and harmful, thereby inciting hatred and trying to give young people the impression that seniors are a burden on society.” said the party on the social network.
She added that she rejects attacks on people who spent their whole lives building Slovakia, raising children and paying taxes. „No one can be denied their rights just because they are older or vote differently,” added the party at the end of the status.
The stumbling block was the video that the comedian released to the world at the beginning of May. It is a parody of pensioners who go on organized bus trips to Smer party meetings. “We drive buses, fill our stomachs, sell our grandchildren for a bowl of goulash, and everything will be fine. Thank you, thank you,” the comedian added a harsh comment. The whole video, which you can watch at the beginning of the article, was in a similar spirit.
In addition to the comedian, they also filed a criminal complaint against the so far unidentified authors of hateful comments, which appeared under the post. “Take away their citizenship so they can’t vote,” wrote one user on the social network. “Perfect, if only they would revoke their right to vote,” said another.
Kollar emphasized that there are serious reasons for law enforcement authorities to thoroughly investigate this matter. “Seniors cannot be a target for part of society, nor are they a burden, as this influencer tries to convince young people in the video,” he added.
In connection with the comments, he noted that it was not a matter of humor, but called it a dangerous shift in our society. “We cannot allow to incite hatred and say that one group of citizens should be deprived of their rights just because they are older and vote differently than the others like,” said the chairman of the party at the press conference.
