“I already declared a few days ago that in the absence of dialogue between the EU and the Russian Federation, any stray drone can lead to such an escalation of tensions, which we will not be able to handle,” said Fico.
A drone, believed to be from Russia, crashed into the roof of an apartment building in the city of Galati on Friday night, the Romanian Ministry of Defense said. A 53-year-old woman and a 14-year-old boy suffered minor injuries in the incident, and rescuers reported that they were stabilized. The Romanian head of state called a meeting of the Supreme Council of National Defense to discuss the consequences of the incident.
