Self-employed professionals and small business owners registered as individual microentrepreneurs (MEIs) have until this Sunday (31st) to submit the MEI Simplified Annual Declaration (Dasn-Simei) for the calendar year 2025.
The MEI annual declaration is themandatory for all individual entrepreneurs who have opted for Simeifor any period during the last year, even if they did not record revenue during this same period. This is the case, for example, of professionals who stop providing services as MEI to work with a formal contract.
How to make the declaration
The declaration can be sent via the MEI App or the Entrepreneur Portal. THE person responsible must inform the gross annual revenue of their company, including all sales or services provided in 2025.
According to the rules, the MEI cannot exceed the limit of R$81 thousand in annual revenue or proportional monthly. It is also necessary to inform whether you have hired an employee (a maximum of one, in accordance with the legislation). The objective of DASN-Simei is to prove that the company is operating within these regime rules.

A late delivery results in a fine of 2% per monthlimited to 20% of the total amount of taxes declared or a minimum amount of R$50. The fine is generated automatically after the late declaration is transmitted.
