Who wouldn’t remember legendary hits like “Sprayer-frayer” or the immortal “Mandarinka Darinka”? In the 1990s, almost all children and teenagers in Slovakia sang these songs. Their performer Michaela Pašteková was a huge child star at the time. However, she hung up her musical career at the age of eighteen.
Today, Michaela Hučko Pašteková started her career at the age of 8, when the musician Peter Nagy chose her in an audition. “I was not one of the favorites. Although Pašteková withdrew from the world of show business, from time to time he will still stand on stage. This happened some time ago and she delighted her fans with her legendary song “Sprayer-frayer”. It is not the first time that the former singing star touches on the topic of culture in Slovakia. In September 2024, she set the “Cultural Strike!” logo as her profile picture on the social network. As stated on their website, it is a coordinated movement of the cultural scene in Slovakia, which the goal is to stop the devastating interventions of the leadership of the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, led by Minister Martina Šimkovičová, in culture at all its levels.
