Iranian authorities close cafe in Tehran over ‘Satanism’

Iranian authorities have closed a cafe in central Tehran for promoting “satanic” activities, according to media reports. The bar on the well-known Valiasr Street organized events with Western-style music that provided a framework for “abnormal behavior.” The Fars news agency reported this on Sunday. In Iran, dancing can be punished as an “indecent” act, and music is subject to strict censorship rules.
