Identity verification company Unico recorded 130% growth in international revenue in the first quarter of 2026, compared to the same period in the previous year. The result follows the advancement of the company’s global expansion strategy, which is already seeking new markets in Latin America. Unico also recorded an 84% increase in the volume of identity verification transactions.
According to the company, the increase in the number of transactions outside Brazil boosted global revenue, with emphasis on the operation in Mexico, where transactional volume tripled, registering a growth of 204%.
“These results are part of the path towards becoming a globally trusted infrastructure, protecting people and institutions around the world”, says Unico’s Latam CEO, Luis Felipe Monteiro. “The accelerated growth, both in volume in Brazil and in international revenue, validates the thesis that our technology solves the complex challenge of identifying who is human and preventing synthetic fraud at scale.”
