Bluetooth device called “BOMB” forces flight from New York to Mallorca to turn back


The United Airlines flight from Newark to Palma de Mallorca had been in the air for over four hours when someone noticed a suspicious-sounding Bluetooth device. The US radio station NPR The airline revealed shortly after the events that the flight turned back “to investigate a potential safety risk.” A passenger appeared to have given his device the inappropriate name “Bomb,” as a passenger later wrote on Tiktok.
