The Secretary of State of the United States, Marco Rubio, has accused Cuba of sponsoring terrorism and supporting terrorist groups that operate throughout Latin America, which, he has pointed out, represents a national security problem for the world’s leading economy. “Cuba has sponsored terrorism and supported virtually all violent radical left-wing terrorist groups in the Western Hemisphere, which have at some point had the support of Cuba. The ELN, the FARC and FARC dissidents have been involved there,” said the head of US diplomacy.
