Mexican authorities say they have found an underground tunnel that likely connects Tijuana, Mexico, to a street in San Diego, California.
Intelligence agents searched a residence south of the border between the United States and Mexico and discovered that it possibly operated as a center for trafficking weapons, explosives and drugs.
Authorities say the tunnel is approximately 265 meters long and 6 meters deep, with lighting, ventilation and an electronic sliding mechanism that could be used to transport materials under the border.
