Senators withdraw signature from alternative PEC to 6×1 – 06/04/2026 – Panel

After a lot of pressure on social media and the actions of unions in recent days, at least three senators have already withdrawn their signatures in support of the opposition proposal that sought to be an alternative to the PEC at the end of the one approved in the Chamber.

On another front, women began to work hand-to-hand with senators in each state. Since Monday (1st), leaders have been demanding the withdrawal of signatures from parliamentarians.

In a video, senator Zequinha Marinho (Podemos-PA) said he was in favor of the proposal approved in the Chamber. “I have just received information that the PEC (of the opposition) is withdrawing the union’s presence from the negotiations and we cannot admit this,” he stated.

Amid the pressure, even Bolsonarist Cleitinho (Republicanos-MG) withdrew his support. In the plenary, he asked for priority.

“I’ve been saying here for two years that I want to end the end of the scale. So I’m taking my signature”, he said.

On the networks, the senator (PL-RJ) also backed down. “I understand that many people saw the text as something harmful to Brazilian workers. And, if people understand it that way, it doesn’t make sense for me to continue with it,” he said.
