Today’s episode refers to the collapse suffered by the midfielder on June 12, 2021, at Euro2020, against Finland, when it was due to a cardiorespiratory arrest.

The then Inter Milan player was receiving medical attention on the pitch, and regained consciousness. He was taken from the lawn on a stretcherventilated, and with several teammates around him, while applause was heard throughout the Parken Stadium, in the city of Copenhagen.

It was also Morten Boesen who at the time resuscitated Eriksen. the doctor said at the time: “cardiac medicines only last two months. Luckily, what was in my suitcase was new, I had bought it for the Euro Cup and I was very happy about it.” Boesen admitted that the cardiac massage and resuscitation, still on the pitch, prevented his death.
