The Fire Department returned to Rua Guaporé, in Guarulhos, this Sunday morning (7), after the fire at a logistics company reignites. The fire, which had been considered extinguished on Saturday night (6) after 23 hours of work, presented new focuseswhich required the sending of six vehicles to the location.
The affected property stores various materials, including PVC pipes. According to the Fire Department, there are no reports of victims and the flames did not reach the residential area of a community located in front of the warehouse.
The first call for the incident was recorded at 8:29 pm on Friday (5). The combat operation involved 38 firefighters and 14 vehicles. On Saturday, around 11:30 am, the — technical procedure to prevent the fire from restarting.
The complete extinction of the fire was reported at 7:30 pm on Saturday, but the outbreaks resumed this morning. The location of the incident is approximately 12 kilometers away from São Paulo International Airport. The causes of the fire are still to be investigated by the competent authorities.
