There were barely five minutes left until the clock struck seven in the afternoon. The more than 12,000 people who packed the Movistar Arena had been paying attention to what was happening on stage for almost two hours. The representatives of the company, culture, education and sport had spoken of empathy, of transcendence and miracles, of the collective versus the individual, of mysticism and God, of hope, solidarity and bonhomie, social justice and equity.
